《On the Hook》 is a single-player roguelike that blends prediction, betting, and ability-building mechanics, featuring a pixel-art aesthetic and a "black-and-gold" casino visual style. You play as a gambler deep in debt to the house, struggling to survive across the floors of an ever-expanding casino. You must endure 18 consecutive nights and earn enough money to cover the repayment amounts, which increase with each passing night. Every night, the casino sees the emergence of one "hottest" high-roller table and one "coldest" shark table. There are no fixed figures displayed at the tables themselves; the players' stakes remain concealed at the table corners, and a single hidden wager can simultaneously impact multiple tables.
