Run a Brazilian LAN house in 2003 in this first-person management sim. Share 512 kbps between customers, manage tabs, power and PCs, and turn six beige machines into the neighborhood hangout.

“A real old-school LAN café. Just like the ones we knew.” - Godenot BRAZIL, 2003 Broadband has barely reached the neighborhood and already costs a fortune. You open a LAN house with six beige PCs and charge R$ 3 an hour. Customers pay cash or ask for fiado, a handwritten tab kept in the caderninho behind the counter. Customers are not numbers. You learn their names, their habits and who always asks for credit. Treat them well and some become regulars. Let the queue, ping or service slip and your reputation pays for it. The internet is the final boss: 512 kbps for the whole room. One person opens Kazuumba and the ping in every Counter Ops match shoots up. At the owner's PC, Janelas XP lets you watch the network, curb the worst bandwidth hogs and decide who has to wait. Counter Ops players want clean ping and tournaments.
